GoToJobBoard is holding its annual Unsung Hero Awards and is asking people to nominate non-medical NHS staff who they think deserve recognition for helping fellow colleagues and caring for patients.
The Manchester-based job board has been running the Unsung Hero Awards since 2014, with the nationwide initiative designed to celebrate the achievements and incredible work of non-medical workers.
GoToJobBoard’s Mark Cherry said: “The Unsung Hero Award has always set out to highlight the amazing work done by people in non-medical roles each and every day. Whether they are saving lives, dedicating their own time to benefit patients, or even just being a team player and helping out their fellow colleagues. It’s our mission to make NHS non-medical staff feel special and proud of the hard work they do every day.”
This year, the awards are even bigger and better than last year, GoToJobBoard have launched a brand new site UnsungHeroAwards.com and created different award categories so they can reward more NHS Unsung Heroes. The nominees and the nominators, whose nominations get shortlisted, will be invited to an exclusive ceremony held on Thursday 8th February 2018 at The Principal Hotel in Manchester city centre where the winners will be announced at the event.
